Queensland police have charged a 43-year-old Beenleigh woman with murder following the sudden death of a 66-year-old man at a Lubach Street residence on August 18. A 47-year-old Karalee man has also been charged with murder in connection with the investigation. Police said officers were called to the address at about 4:45 p.m. after reports of an altercation involving three people who lived at the property. Investigators allege the woman stabbed the man during the incident. He died at the scene. The woman has additionally been charged with acts intended to maim, disfigure or disable and aggravated contravention of a domestic violence order. Both accused were scheduled to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 19. Police said investigations are continuing. Information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
