Woman Dies in Tiaro Crash

A 23-year-old woman has died and a man was seriously injured after a single-vehicle crash at Tiaro in Queensland on the night of August 14.

Emergency services were called to Wilson Road shortly after 9:15 p.m. following reports that a white Holden Rodeo had left the road and struck a tree. The front-seat passenger, a Tiaro woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, a 45-year-old Tiaro man, was airlifted to hospital for further treatment. The Queensland Police Service Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash and has asked anyone with information to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers, quoting reference number QP2601582872.
