A 63-year-old man has died after his motorcycle left the road and struck a traffic sign in Gilberton, Queensland, on the morning of August 11, according to Queensland Police. Initial investigations indicate the white Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 was travelling on Stapylton Jacobs Well Road shortly before 10 a.m. when the crash occurred. The Jacobs Well man was declared deceased at the scene. Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash and have appealed for witnesses or anyone with relevant footage from before the incident to come forward.
