Queensland police have seized suspected drugs, weapons and cash during a search of a property in Condon, Townsville District, on August 5.

The Townsville District Tactical Crime Squad executed a search warrant at a Lorikeet Street address at about 3 p.m. Police said methylamphetamine, cannabis, knuckledusters, a crossbow and a quantity of money were allegedly found.

A 34-year-old Condon man was arrested at the scene and remanded in custody. He has since been charged with eight offences, including two counts of possessing dangerous drugs and single counts of unlawful possession of weapons, possessing utensils or pipes, and possession of property.

The man was expected to appear at Townsville Magistrates Court on August 10. The allegations have not been tested in court. Police cited reference number QP2601516022 in the case.
