Queensland Police are seeking public assistance after a 62-year-old man was allegedly assaulted near Cotton Tree Parade in Maroochydore earlier this month. Police said a group of eight males approached the man at about 11:50 p.m. on July 11 and assaulted him. He sustained minor injuries in the incident. The group allegedly left the area in a dark-coloured sedan, travelling west along Memorial Avenue.
