Queensland police have charged a 57-year-old Cairns North man with three counts of sexual assault following an alleged incident at a Cairns City business. Police allege a 31-year-old Gold Coast woman attended a Lake Street business for a massage on April 13, when the man inappropriately touched her. Officers from the Cairns Criminal Investigation Branch charged the man on July 27. The man is scheduled to appear in Cairns Magistrates Court on August 10. Police are appealing for anyone with information or potential additional victims to come forward, quoting reference number QP2600980633. People in immediate danger should call Triple Zero (000).
