A 19-year-old man has been charged over an alleged dangerous driving incident in Coominya, Queensland, in which a white Ford Falcon utility reportedly drove into a marked police vehicle. No officers were physically injured. Queensland Police said officers responded to reports of dangerous driving involving up to 10 vehicles on McLean Road at about 12:30 a.m. on July 5. Most of the vehicles allegedly fled when police arrived, while the Ford Falcon was accused of intentionally driving at the police vehicle and causing damage. Following a public appeal for information, police located the vehicle at a Laidley address later that day. Detectives from the Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch subsequently arrested the man at a Logan address on July 16. The man has been charged with damaging an emergency vehicle while operating a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a vehicle and driving without a licence. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on August 5. Post navigation Police Warn of Crypto QR Scam Teen Charged After Redbank Wounding
