A severe traffic incident occurred in Gleneagle, resulting in life-threatening injuries to a child and less severe injuries to two others. At around 2:14 PM, a Subaru Impreza sedan, traveling southbound, collided with a Nissan Qashqai station wagon at the intersection of Mount Lindesay Highway and Gould Hill Road. A young passenger in the Nissan was critically injured and had to be airlifted to a hospital for urgent medical attention. The Nissan’s driver, a 56-year-old woman from Gleneagle, and another passenger, a 13-year-old girl, were also injured in the collision but fortunately sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to a hospital for treatment. The Subaru’s driver, a 52-year-old man from Beaudesert, was involved in the crash but did not sustain any physical injuries. Authorities are urging anyone who might have relevant information, CCTV, or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
