Police in Palmview, Queensland, have arrested a 25-year-old woman from Chermside after a series of dangerous driving incidents on July 3. The woman reportedly drove a stolen white Mercedes-Benz recklessly, hitting several parked cars near a theme park on Downunder Drive. Authorities received multiple calls about the erratic driving at approximately 1:20 pm. The police quickly located the vehicle and attempted to intercept it, but the driver initially failed to stop. The chase ended shortly after, with the woman being detained without further complications. The vehicle was confirmed stolen from South Brisbane on June 4. The charges against the woman include dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, evasion, and driving under the influence of drugs. Additionally, she faces multiple property-related offenses. Denied police bail, she is scheduled to appear before the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on July 6.
