Police in Logan have apprehended two individuals, a 17-year-old boy and a 30-year-old woman, following a dangerous pursuit involving a stolen white Isuzu MU-X. The vehicle was reported stolen from a parking lot on Kingston Road, Underwood, between 10:45 am and 12:40 pm on June 30. The stolen vehicle was later observed around 2 pm on Chamber Flat Road, Waterford West, where it was allegedly driven erratically. The chase continued through the Logan and Brisbane regions, culminating in Woodridge after police successfully deployed a tyre deflation device to halt the car. Both suspects were taken into custody shortly thereafter. The 17-year-old from Woodridge faces charges including unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving without a license, and wilful damage. He is scheduled to appear before the Beenleigh Children’s Court on July 1. The woman from Browns Plains has been charged with four counts of stealing, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and an evasion offence. Her court appearance is set for July 14 at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court. As investigations continue, authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant information to come forward.
