A Queensland detective senior constable has been charged with multiple offenses including misconduct in public office and sexual assault, following a thorough investigation by the Ethical Standards Command. The 36-year-old officer, part of the Crime Command, faces a total of 14 charges related to incidents occurring both on and off duty over several years. Initially arrested in March 2026 for stalking, the officer’s behavior prompted further investigations which revealed a broader pattern of alleged criminal activities. These include three counts of misconduct in public office, two each of common assault, computer hacking and misuse, distributing prohibited recordings, and unlawful stalking, as well as charges for dangerous conduct with a weapon, entering a dwelling to commit an offense, deprivation of liberty, distributing intimate images, and sexual assault. Suspended from the Queensland Police Service, the officer is due to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 23, 2026. The ongoing investigation is supervised by the Crime and Corruption Commission to ensure thorough examination and justice. Authorities urge anyone with information relevant to this case or other suspicious activities to contact Policelink or report anonymously via Crime Stoppers. The Queensland Police maintains a commitment to integrity and accountability, encouraging the public to report any misconduct. Post navigation Manhunt in Moranbah
