On June 5, 2026, a series of property crimes in Brisbane’s Eight Mile Plains came to an end with the arrest of a 29-year-old man from Goodna. The Queensland Police charged the individual with multiple counts of trespass and breaking and entering, following a swift operation involving Police Dog Vince.

The incidents began around 3 pm when police received several reports of a man illegally entering homes and committing thefts across various streets including Miles Platting Road, Manchester Street, and Liverpool Street. The suspect was reportedly last seen near a licensed venue on Gaskell Street, prompting an immediate response from local law enforcement.

The successful capture occurred near Levingston Road at around 4 pm, thanks to the tracking efforts of PD Vince. The accused now faces charges that include four counts of trespass, three counts of entering premises to commit an indictable offence, and additional charges related to the possession of controlled substances and non-compliance with police directives.

The alleged offender is scheduled to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 26. Authorities encourage anyone with further information to contact Policelink or report anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
