At approximately 8:50 PM, emergency services rushed to a residence on Roebuck Street after receiving reports that a 60-year-old local man had sustained severe injuries. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers immediately established a crime scene and detained a 57-year-old man found at the location. The victim was urgently transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Authorities are now appealing to the public for any pertinent information or footage, including CCTV recordings from around the time of the incident. Ongoing investigations seek to piece together the circumstances leading up to the assault.
