A 31-year-old Southbrook woman has died after a single-vehicle crash near Toowoomba on the morning of May 26, Queensland Police said. The crash occurred on Umbiram Road shortly before 8 a.m.

Initial investigations indicate a white Ford Falcon left the roadway and struck a tree. The woman, who was the vehicle’s sole occupant, was declared dead at the scene.

The Queensland Police Service Forensic Crash Unit is investigating. Police are urging anyone with relevant information or dashcam footage to come forward and quote reference number QP2601001306.

Investigators have also reminded motorists that speeding, driving under the influence, distraction, fatigue and failing to wear a seatbelt can increase the risk of fatal crashes.
