A man in his twenties is in critical condition after a car and semi-trailer collided head-on near Martyville on Queensland’s Cassowary Coast on May 26, police said. The crash occurred on the Bruce Highway, north of Moresby, at about 2:10 p.m. The man was driving a Toyota Yaris. The semi-trailer driver was not physically injured. The Bruce Highway remains closed near Martyville, with diversions operating through Boogan Road and South Johnstone Road. Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are seeking information and dashcam footage from witnesses or other motorists in the area.
