Queensland police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam or security-camera footage after a three-vehicle crash involving two allegedly dangerous drivers in Beenleigh on May 25. Police said a stolen white Hyundai iLoad and a white Jeep Grand Cherokee were seen being driven dangerously along Main Street and George Street shortly after 2 p.m. The vehicles continued onto Logan River Road before colliding at the intersection with Harburg Road at about 2:20 p.m., also striking a silver Nissan X-Trail. The 19-year-old female driver of the Hyundai suffered an arm injury and was taken to Logan Hospital. A 23-year-old male passenger in the Hyundai was not injured and was arrested. The two male occupants of the Jeep were also uninjured. The 50-year-old Jeep driver has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle and is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on June 22. The 54-year-old Nissan driver was not physically injured but was taken to hospital as a precaution.
