Teen Critically Injured in Raceview Attack

A teenage boy was critically injured and a woman suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds during an altercation at a house in Raceview, Queensland, on May 24, police said. A fire also broke out at the property on Cascade Street.

Emergency services were called at about 4:30 p.m. The boy was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital in critical condition, while the woman was transported to Mater Hospital in stable condition.

A man has been taken into custody and is assisting police. Authorities said there was no ongoing threat to the community, and investigations into the incident are continuing.
