A 36-year-old cyclist sustained serious injuries after colliding with a car in Beenleigh, Queensland, on the evening of May 21, according to Queensland Police. Emergency services were called to the intersection of George Street and Main Street at about 6:38 p.m. after reports that a grey Mitsubishi and a bicycle had crashed. The cyclist was treated at the scene before being taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital. The 33-year-old driver was not physically injured and is assisting police.
