A 44-year-old woman has been charged with drug offences after Queensland Police allegedly found 1.1 kilograms of cannabis during a vehicle search in Charleville on March 28. Officers from Charleville Station were conducting patrols at about 6:45 p.m. when they intercepted a blue Holden Commodore travelling along the Warrego Highway. Police said the cannabis was concealed in several packages inside the vehicle. The Charleville woman has been charged with one count each of supplying dangerous drugs and possessing dangerous drugs. She is scheduled to appear in Charleville Magistrates Court on May 6. Queensland Police said investigations are continuing.
