In a significant law enforcement operation, the Moreton Tactical Crime Squad (TCS) of Queensland Police, with assistance from the Moreton Dog Squad, has seized two loaded semi-automatic firearms and arrested a 21-year-old man in Kallangur. The arrest took place on August 6, 2025, following an investigation into outstanding warrants and alleged criminal activities.

Upon arrival at the property, the suspect reportedly refused to exit, prompting police to force entry. Further search efforts led to the seizure of an additional semi-automatic firearm, ammunition, over $15,000 in cash, three knuckledusters, a small quantity of methylamphetamine, various steroids, and a large quantity of prescription medications.

The suspect, a Kallangur resident, faces multiple charges, including four counts of unlawful possession of weapons, four counts of possessing dangerous drugs, and additional charges related to explosives and obstruction of a police officer. He has been denied police bail and is scheduled to appear in Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on August 7, 2025.

Queensland Police continues to investigate, with further charges anticipated. Authorities urge anyone with information related to the case to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers.
