In a devastating incident, a suspicious house fire in Harristown on May 7 has led to the tragic deaths of three children. The Queensland Police Service reported that emergency services responded to the fire at a Merritt Street property around 12:30 am, where they found the house engulfed in flames. Unfortunately, a 9-year-old boy was found deceased inside the property, with two more children, a 4-year-old girl and a 7-year-old girl, succumbing to their injuries at the Queensland Children’s Hospital later. A 36-year-old woman remains in critical condition at the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital, while three other individuals managed to escape the fire. The incident is currently being treated as suspicious, with the house designated as a crime scene.
