Samsung Electronics ranked No. 5 on Interbrand’s “Best Global Brands 2026” list, maintaining its position among the world’s five most valuable brands for a seventh consecutive year. Interbrand valued Samsung’s brand at $105.2 billion. Samsung was the only Asia-based company to remain in the global top five every year since 2020. Interbrand attributed the ranking to the company’s record earnings, investments in artificial intelligence semiconductors, stronger AI capabilities in its Device eXperience division and its customer-focused “One Samsung” strategy. Samsung’s Device Solutions division expanded its supply of high-value memory products to meet demand related to AI. The company also highlighted its mass production and commercial shipment of HBM4, which it described as an industry first. In its consumer business, Samsung said it is expanding personalized AI features and connectivity across smartphones, televisions and home appliances. The company also cited the Galaxy Z Fold8, its eighth-generation foldable smartphone, which features a 4:3 display aspect ratio. Interbrand’s annual assessment considers financial performance and outlook, purchasing influence, competitiveness, customer engagement, consistency and trust.
