Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held separate calls with the leaders of Finland, France, Norway and the United Kingdom on Oct. 10, discussing continued Russian attacks and measures to strengthen support for Ukraine and European security.

According to the president’s office, Zelenskyy spoke with Finnish President Alexander Stubb about additional Russian revenue from oil product exports and the need to limit Moscow’s ability to finance the war. He also discussed the situation with French President Emmanuel Macron during a Russian ballistic attack on Kyiv.

In calls with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham, Zelenskyy briefed the leaders on strikes carried out throughout the day against Ukrainian cities. The attacks reportedly involved aerial bombs, Shahed drones and ballistic missiles. Zelenskyy said further decisions were needed to protect civilians and prevent Russia from prolonging the conflict.

Separately, the Olena Zelenska Foundation announced that Headspace Denmark had conducted a three-day training program for volunteers working at “12–21” youth centers. The initiative, held ahead of World Mental Health Day, aims to strengthen mental-health support for Ukrainian teenagers.
