A 32-year-old Cornubia man has been charged with murder after a Wishart man died in hospital following an alleged serious assault. The 32-year-old victim was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition on the morning of October 10. He died from his injuries overnight, Queensland Police said. The accused’s initial charge of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm was upgraded to murder. He was also charged with contravening an order relating to information required to access electronically stored information. The man remains in custody and is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on October 12.
