A 32-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a 65-year-old man in Woodridge, Queensland, on October 6, police said. Officers attended a unit on North Road at about 7:15 a.m. for a welfare check and found the older man deceased. A crime scene was declared, and detectives from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch and Homicide Investigation Unit began investigating the circumstances. Police arrested the 32-year-old man in Beenleigh at about 7:50 p.m. He was charged with murder and was due to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 7. Investigations are continuing.
