NVIDIA said it is working with Australian cloud and AI infrastructure partners to expand the country’s capacity to support advanced artificial intelligence systems, with a potential buildout of up to 2 gigawatts by 2027. The company said the initiative will increase land, power and data-center shell capacity for multiple generations of its DSX AI factories. The facilities are intended to meet Australia’s growing demand for AI computing resources. The effort involves a growing network of Australian NVIDIA Cloud Partners and other infrastructure providers. NVIDIA did not provide details in the announcement about the total investment, specific locations or the companies participating in the planned buildout.
