A 15-year-old girl has been charged with armed robbery after a delivery driver’s vehicle was allegedly stolen in Parkwood, Queensland, early on January 8. The driver was not physically injured.

Police said the 25-year-old man was delivering food to a Rodriguez Court address at about 1:30 a.m. when he allegedly saw two people enter his vehicle and drive toward Alcott Court. As he attempted to stop them, the pair allegedly produced a knife and threatened him before fleeing in the vehicle.

Investigators executed a search warrant at a Gilston property on January 8 and arrested the girl. Police allege she arranged the robbery by ordering the food delivery. She has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is scheduled to appear at Southport Children’s Court on January 9.
