Motorcyclist Killed in Townsville Crash

A motorcyclist has died following a two-vehicle crash in South Townsville on August 23, Queensland police said. Officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage as investigations continue.

Initial investigations indicate the motorcycle was travelling south on Dean Street shortly before 6 p.m. when it collided with a white Toyota LandCruiser.

The motorcycle rider, a man whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Toyota driver, a 56-year-old man from Home Hill, was not physically injured.
