Queensland Police have charged two people after a stolen Audi Q5 was allegedly tracked driving dangerously across the Gold Coast on August 14. Police allege the grey vehicle was being driven at about 6:40 a.m. The Audi was reportedly stolen from an address on East Quay Drive, Biggera Waters, between midnight and 5:30 a.m. on August 12. An 18-year-old man faces charges including unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation, driving without a licence, possession of dangerous drugs and offences involving police. He is also accused of damaging an emergency vehicle, endangering a police officer, seriously assaulting a police officer and attempting to unlawfully enter two vehicles. A 16-year-old Burleigh Heads girl has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle. She remains in custody. Both defendants are expected to appear in Southport courts on August 17.
