Queensland police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old Logan man over more than 75 alleged offences across Queensland after locating him in Bundall on August 8. Officers attended a Racecourse Drive address about 12:15 p.m. following information that the man was there. Police said he fled to a nearby stolen Toyota Aurion and armed himself with a knife before being taken into custody after officers deployed a Taser. The vehicle was allegedly stolen from an address in Loganlea on August 6. The man faces charges including four counts of stealing a vehicle, two counts of stealing, arson, obstructing police, possessing a knife in a public place, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing restricted medicine. Police said a further 65 charges relate to alleged property and dangerous-driving incidents in areas including the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Logan, the Gold Coast and Mackay.
