NVIDIA is joining the U.S. National Science Foundation’s State and Regional Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Hubs program, an initiative aimed at expanding access to resources needed for AI research and education across the country.

The program, launched Aug. 4, will support access to advanced computing, data, software and technical expertise for researchers, educators and students. The effort is designed to strengthen regional capabilities and broaden participation in AI-enabled research.

NVIDIA said its participation will contribute to the program’s goal of developing infrastructure and expertise that can be used by institutions across the United States. The initiative is part of a broader push to expand AI education and research beyond major technology centers.
