A 69-year-old Ipswich woman has died following a serious traffic crash at Severnlea in Queensland on August 2. She died at Toowoomba Hospital on August 3 from injuries sustained in the crash. Queensland Police said the woman was driving a white Toyota Yaris north along the New England Highway at about 4:05 a.m. when the vehicle left the road and struck a concrete drain. The woman was initially taken to hospital with serious injuries before being transferred to Toowoomba Hospital. Police investigations into the circumstances of the crash are continuing.
