Man Dies After Bahrs Scrub Assault

A 21-year-old man has died in hospital after suffering serious head injuries during an alleged assault in Bahrs Scrub, Queensland, on July 26. Queensland Police said the man, from Redbank Plains, died on the afternoon of August 1.

Police were called to Discovery Boulevard at about 2:15 a.m. following reports of a large disturbance involving a group of people. Officers found significant damage to several vehicles and a residence in the area.

As people fled the scene, officers were alerted to the injured man, who was found nearby on Orchard Avenue. He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition.
