A 45-year-old Gympie man has died following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Veteran, near Gympie, Queensland Police said. Emergency services were called to the intersection of Craft Road and Sandy Creek Road at about 3:22 p.m. on July 29 after the man was found deceased. Initial investigations indicate the rider sustained critical injuries sometime between July 28 and July 29. Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of a black 2009 BMW K1300 motorcycle near the scene. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
