A 61-year-old Beaudesert man has died after his motorcycle collided with a utility at Birnam in Queensland’s Scenic Rim on July 26. The crash occurred on Beaudesert Beenleigh Road at about 12:53 p.m. Police said the Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a Ford Falcon utility. The motorcycle rider sustained life-threatening injuries and died at the scene. The 22-year-old Wonglepong man driving the utility was taken to Logan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and has appealed for anyone with relevant dashcam footage or other information to contact police, quoting reference number QP2601446419.
