Queensland police are appealing for information after a serious assault and large disturbance in Bahrs Scrub early on July 26, leaving a 21-year-old man in critical condition. Officers were called to Discovery Boulevard at about 2:16 a.m. after reports of a group disturbance. They arrived approximately eight minutes later and found significant damage to several vehicles and a nearby residence. As people fled the scene, police were alerted to the injured man, from Redbank Plains, who had been located on Orchard Avenue with serious head injuries. He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition. Investigators are seeking witnesses and relevant CCTV, home security or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident.
