Police in Booval, Queensland, have arrested two individuals linked to a series of armed robberies that occurred early on the morning of July 13th. The suspects, a 17-year-old from Windsor and a 19-year-old from Forestdale, are accused of targeting local businesses on Brisbane Road.

The first incident was reported around 3:15 AM, involving the duo allegedly threatening staff with a knife and subsequently stealing from the business. A similar occurrence transpired just over two hours later, prompting an immediate response from local authorities. Police apprehended the suspects within five minutes of the second robbery, following a swift operation around Glebe Street.

Both individuals face two counts each of armed robbery. The 19-year-old is scheduled for a hearing at the Ipswich Magistrates Court, while the 17-year-old will appear at the Ipswich Children’s Court, both on the day of their arrest. Thankfully, no physical injuries were reported among the staff members of the affected businesses.
