Police in Queensland have arrested two individuals connected to a violent robbery incident in Harlaxton on June 14, 2026. The altercation involved a replica handgun and resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to a 44-year-old man.

The incident occurred late at night when a woman, known to the victim, entered his home on Gregory Street and stole a set of keys. As the homeowner was distracted by another woman at his door, the thief fled. Subsequently, the man was physically assaulted by an accomplice wielding a replica firearm when he attempted to confront the thief outside his residence.

Authorities responded quickly, and after thorough investigations by the Toowoomba Criminal Investigation Branch, a man and a woman were apprehended on June 16 at separate locations in Toowoomba. A 50-year-old man from Rockville has been charged with robbery, while a 31-year-old woman from Harlaxton faces charges of robbery and possession of dangerous drugs. Both appeared before the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on June 17.
