Two men were apprehended by Queensland Police following a high-speed pursuit involving two stolen vehicles in the Ipswich area on June 3, 2026. The incident involved dangerous driving and multiple criminal charges.

Early in the morning of June 3, a Toyota Landcruiser Prado and a Mazda 3, previously reported stolen from Wakerley, were tracked on Pine Mountain Road. The chase concluded dramatically on Collingwood Drive, Collingwood Park, where the Toyota collided with a GWM Tank 300. The two female occupants of the GWM vehicle received immediate medical assessments at the scene, while the suspects were detained by police.

A 22-year-old man from Deebing Heights faces 26 charges, including multiple counts related to burglary and vehicle misuse, alongside a charge for dangerous vehicle operation. His accomplice, a 22-year-old from Pine Mountain, faces 11 similar charges. Both suspects have been denied bail and are scheduled for a court appearance in Ipswich Magistrates Court.
