Police in Queensland are calling for witnesses and dashcam footage following a distressing traffic incident in Watalgan, near Bundaberg, that occurred yesterday afternoon, April 22.

The accident involved a silver Isuzu D-Max utility, which was navigating Rosedale Road towards Bundaberg at approximately 12:50 pm. The vehicle was forced to swerve and subsequently rolled over due to another car driving on the wrong side of the road near a bend north of the Winfield turnoff. The driver of the offending vehicle did not stop and continued driving.

The Isuzu, driven by a 47-year-old woman from Oyster Creek, left her with non-life-threatening injuries; she was hospitalized following the incident. A 51-year-old male passenger suffered minor injuries but did not require hospitalization, while a 25-year-old female passenger was shocked but unharmed.

Authorities have described the vehicle involved in causing the accident as a white car with a single occupant. The Queensland Police Service is urging anyone who was in the area at the time and has dashcam footage to come forward to aid in their investigations.
