Police in Slacks Creek are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a local tobacco shop on Kingston Road. The incident, which took place shortly before midnight on April 21, involved two men who entered the store and threatened an employee with a knife before making off with several cartons of cigarettes through the store’s rear exit.

The suspects, described as Pacific Islanders with a solid build, were wearing face coverings during the robbery. Fortunately, the staff member involved did not sustain any physical injuries during the ordeal. Authorities are now reaching out to the public for assistance, urging anyone who might have CCTV or dashcam footage of the area to come forward.
