In a significant display ahead of their bilateral talks in Berlin on April 14, 2026, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz were presented with seven advanced drones. These drones are the products of collaborative efforts between Ukrainian and German companies, highlighting a strengthening partnership amid ongoing global technological and defense challenges.

The showcased drones included six aerial types and one ground-based model, demonstrating the range and versatility of the joint ventures. Notably, the Linsa 3.0 drone, capable of carrying loads up to 4 kg for distances up to 15 km and flying up to an hour, is a product of Frontline Robotics and Quantum Systems. This drone alone has a production target of 10,000 units in Germany for the year 2026.

Moreover, the exhibition featured the TerMit unmanned ground vehicle designed for evacuation and logistics across various terrains, and the Babka reconnaissance drone, which specializes in target identification. The Anubis and Seth-X drones are engineered for tactical strikes against both personnel and armored vehicles, while the KOLIBRI 10″ FPV and STRILA drones focus on kamikaze interceptions and high-speed aerial target engagements respectively.

In addition to the drone presentation, the event also marked the signing of six new cooperation agreements under the ‘Build with Ukraine’ initiative. These agreements involve major Ukrainian and German companies like TAF Industries, Thyra, WIY Drones, and Quantum Systems, aiming to enhance production capacities for UAV interceptors and other aviation systems. This collaborative effort not only underscores the deepening industrial bonds between the two nations but also their commitment to technological advancement and security enhancements.
