The Forensic Crash Unit is currently investigating a tragic fatal traffic crash that occurred in Bajool on May 14. The incident, which involved three vehicles, resulted in the loss of one life.

According to reports, the crash took place on the Bruce Highway at around 2:40 pm. A white Suzuki Jimny traveling southbound collided with a northbound white Toyota Hilux. Subsequently, a grey Toyota Hilux, also heading north, collided with the white Hilux.

Tragically, the driver of the Suzuki Jimny, a 24-year-old man from Boyne Island, was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the other vehicles, a 26-year-old man from Nundah and a 28-year-old man from Kiama, NSW, were taken to Rockhampton Base Hospital for treatment.

The Queensland Police Service has urged anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward. Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
