In a significant crackdown on property crime in Mango Hill, two teenagers have been apprehended and charged with a series of offenses, including vehicle theft and burglary. The Queensland Police Service confirmed the arrests following a coordinated effort by the Redcliffe Criminal Investigations Branch.

Early on the morning of November 26, it is alleged that the two teens entered a residence on Plummer Crescent, Mango Hill, and stole a white Hyundai i30 hatchback. Their criminal activities culminated in their arrest in Helensvale on the following day. Collectively, the teenagers face 32 charges related to multiple property crimes committed in the area.

A 14-year-old from Redcliffe is facing 17 charges, which include multiple counts of entering a dwelling to commit an offense and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. His accomplice, a 15-year-old, has been charged with 15 similar offenses. Both teens have been denied bail and are scheduled to appear in Southport Children’s Court.
