In a significant crackdown on crime in Cunnamulla, Queensland, a 36-year-old local man has been apprehended following a series of alleged criminal activities spanning over a month. The Queensland Police Service (QPS) announced the arrest, highlighting the collaborative efforts of the Cunnamulla station and the Criminal Investigation Branch.

According to the QPS, the suspect was involved in more than 25 incidents since October 12, which included multiple break-and-enters, burglaries, property crimes, and serious domestic violence-related offenses. The culmination of these investigations led to the man’s arrest at a residence in Charters Towers on November 15.

Charges laid against him include three counts of entering premises to commit an indictable offense by breaking, two counts each of entering a dwelling to commit an offense, stealing, evading police, and various other charges related to trespass, wilful damage, and dangerous operation of a vehicle.

The accused is set to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on November 17. Meanwhile, detectives continue their investigations and have issued an appeal to the public for any information that may assist in further clarifying details of the crimes committed during October in and around Cunnamulla.
