Three teenagers have been charged after a reported break-in and vehicle theft in Gold Coast, Queensland. The incidents, occurring on November 4, involved attempted burglaries and the unlawful use of motor vehicles in several locations, including Paradise Point and Upper Coomera.

According to Queensland Police Service, at approximately 2:00 AM, a group armed with knives and bats attempted to break into a residence on Finke Street, Upper Coomera but were interrupted by a 21-year-old male resident. The suspects fled in a stolen white Audi TT and a blue Mazda CX5. Shortly after, around 2:40 AM, another attempted break-in was reported at Dobell Avenue, Paradise Point where a 59-year-old male resident was verbally threatened before the suspects fled.

The police successfully apprehended the suspects around 3:40 AM at Boomerang Crescent, Bundall. The individuals, two 15-year-olds from Inala and Salisbury, and a 16-year-old from Park Ridge, face charges including entering a dwelling to commit an indictable offense and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. They were presented before the Southport Magistrates Court on the day of the incident.
