In a significant crackdown on drug-related crime, Queensland Police have charged two men in connection with the supply and trafficking of dangerous drugs in the South West and Darling Downs Districts. The charges follow a lengthy investigation by the South West District Tactical Crime Squad. On May 1, law enforcement executed a search warrant at a property on Wyley Street in Dalby, uncovering a mobile phone allegedly used for the supply and trafficking of methylamphetamines. A detailed examination of the phone led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man in Toowoomba on June 30. Authorities allege that the man was involved in drug supply and trafficking over a six-week period between March and May 2025. The 21-year-old Jondaryan man faces 123 counts of supplying dangerous drugs, along with charges of trafficking, possession of crime-related items, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in the Dalby Magistrates Court on August 27. Additionally, a 36-year-old Dalby man has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs and related offenses. He is expected to appear in court on August 19. Queensland Police urge anyone with information on drug activities to contact Policelink or report anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
