A 36-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl have died after a vehicle crashed into a dam at Tinana South on Queensland’s Fraser Coast. Emergency services were called to Springvale Road shortly before 5:30 p.m. on October 8 after reports that a blue Subaru Tribeca had left the road. The victims were found deceased inside the vehicle. The Queensland Police Service Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Police have appealed for witnesses, including anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the vehicle or events leading up to the incident.
