The National Weather Service has issued a Hurricane Warning for portions of the coastal waters of Alabama and northwest Florida, effective from October 8 at 5:33 AM CDT. Hurricane force winds of 50 to 70 knots and hazardous seas are expected from Friday afternoon until early Saturday morning.
