Police have seized more than 700 grams of methylamphetamine and charged a 38-year-old man after a report of a suspicious vehicle in Upper Mount Gravatt, Brisbane. Queensland Police said officers were called to Pickerworth Street shortly before 11 p.m. on September 22 after reports that a vehicle was loitering in the area. General duties officers located a Hyundai and a man from Noosa Heads, who allegedly ran from police. The man was arrested a short time later on Cremin Street. Police allege he was carrying more than 700 grams of methylamphetamine. He was charged with possessing a Schedule 1 dangerous drug in a quantity meeting or exceeding the relevant threshold and obstructing a police officer.
